Born in Shizuoka, Japan, into a family of three generations of pastry chefs, Morihide Yoshida discovered the rigor of the profession, the respect for the craft, and the attention to detail at a very early age.
After his training, he continued his apprenticeship in various prestigious establishments and won numerous awards. He opened his first boutique in 2005 in Shizuoka, Pâtisserie Naturelle Nature & Co.
But soon, his gaze turned toward France, the cradle of pastry making.
In 2010, he chose to settle in Paris, desiring, more than anything, to understand what gives French pastry its nobility: the influence of seasons and terroir, the quality of raw materials, the freedom of creation, and a savoir-faire built over the centuries.
In 2013, he opened Maison MORI YOSHIDA in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. He quickly received recognition from both the public and his peers.
Above all, his creations reflect a clear taste, precise texture, and mastery. Nothing is added that is not necessary.
For Morihide Yoshida, pastry making is a permanent quest for an ever more precise taste.
